Updates on College Credit Plus Program

We have been communicating for some time regarding our College Credit Plus program.  After extensive work with the University of Cincinnati, we received final approval for the following courses to be offered for college credit here on campus.

·         AP Biology
·         AP Chemistry
·         AP Environmental Science
·         Accelerated Physics
·         AP Physics I
·         AP Physics Mechanics C
·         Teaching Professions Academy
·         Engineering Foundations
·         AP French
·         AP Spanish
·         Computer Science Principals

We appreciate the patience of everyone involved as we worked diligently to get our teachers approved as adjunct professors.  It should be recognized that the University of Cincinnati has been a huge advocate for our students and has extended the deadline for accepting CCP applications specifically for Sycamore High School.  Having stated that, we have a tight window to submit paperwork for the students planning to enroll in the CCP option for the 2015 – 2016 school year.

We will be meeting with the students who have requested the above courses for next year and provide them with the necessary paperwork to take advantage of this voluntary opportunity.  We need all paperwork returned to the office on or before Wednesday, May 6th

Attached to this email is the original letter communicating the College Credit Plus option at Sycamore High School.  As always thank you for your support.
