Goal #2: Teachers will increase FORMATIVE INSTRUCTIONAL PRACTICES in daily practice.
Goal #3: Teachers will improve in the DIFFERENTIATION of instruction in classrooms.

Sycamore Junior High One2One Communications

End of Year Use/Collection of Devices


  • Current 6th, 7th and 8th Grade Students
    • Keeping Devices for Summer:
      • All 6th, 7th and 8th grade students will be keeping their One2One device over the summer.
      • The Junior High School and High School will be communicating with current 6th, 7th and 8th graders regarding One2One device usage for summer assignments.
    • Students Leaving the District
      • All students that are NOT returning to Sycamore Community Schools for the 2016-17 school year MUST return their device at the end of the year.
    • Summer Support Desk:
      • If the One2One device needs repair over the summer, the Sycamore Schools Technology Department is providing Summer Support Desk hours at the Sycamore High School’s main entrance on Mondays and Thursdays from 7am-9am from June 6 until July 28, 2016.
      • When students or parents bring the One2One device to the Summer Support Desk at the High School you will receive a loaner device. Once your device is repaired we will contact you to stop back and swap out the devices.


Beginning of Year Use/Distribution of Devices

  • Students Attending Junior High in 2016-17
    • Beginning of the Year Device Distribution:
      • On August 10-11, 2016 NEW students entering 7th, 8th grade will receive their One2One devices at the Junior High Schedule Pickup.
      • There will be One2One technology help available at Schedule Pickup on August 10-11.
      • For students that have a One2One device over the summer, it is highly recommended that you DO NOT wait until August 10-11, 2016 to bring in broken devices. Broken devices should brought to the Summer Support Desk hours at the Sycamore High School’s main entrance on Mondays and Thursdays from 7am-9am from June 6 until July 28, 2016.
      • On August 10-11, we will have available extra charging adapters and extra carrying cases for purchase. Chargers will be $25 and carrying cases will be $20.
