Student & Parent FYI for Fall 2016!

• Schedule Pickup- August 10th  from 8:00 am to 12:00pm and from 4:00pm to 7:00 pm and August 11th from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm  in the Sycamore Junior High cafeteria. Parents and Students should come to finish schools forms if needed, get schedules and locker assignments, turn in medications and immunization records,  and get school pictures taken. • District New Family Welcome! -  For all students and families new to the Sycamore Community School District August 10th at 5:30pm-6:30pm at Sycamore Junior High School. Come for a tour of the school, dinner, and to meet the administration!
• 7th Grade Orientation- August 10th at 7:00pm in the Sycamore Junior High School Auditorium. Parents and students should come to meet the administration and learn everything you need to know for this upcoming school year at SJHS!
• Meet The Coaches Night- August 11th from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. Parents and students should come meet the coaches of our fall sports teams and find out more information on athletics at SJH.
• Final Forms Reminder- Please remember to complete all student forms electronically through Final Forms at www.sycamore.finalforms.com. Your child will be unable to receive his/her schedule prior to the completion of these forms.
• Picture Day- School pictures for the year will be taken at schedule pickup on August 10th and 11th. Parents can purchase a picture package online by going to mylifetouch.com on any computer or mobile device with payment being made by credit card. Online package purchases will NOT need any paperwork for the picture day. Paper forms will also be available at schedule pickup for parents who would like to pay via cash or check. • Parent Welcome Coffee- Friday, August 19th at 9:30 am in the JH Media Center. Parents can come to meet with the Administrators and learn more about parent opportunities and involvement at SJH.
• Open House- August 23rd from 6:00 to 7:30pm. Parents can come to have a chance to follow your child’s schedule and meet their teachers as well. This event is for parents only.
