Goal #1: Teachers will collaborate in PROFESSIONAL LEARNING COMMUNITIES to inform classroom instructional practices.
Goal #2: Teachers will increase FORMATIVE INSTRUCTIONAL PRACTICES in daily practice.
Goal #3: Teachers will improve in the DIFFERENTIATION of instruction in classrooms.

Announcements 3/7/16

  • "There is a parent meeting on Monday, March 7th at 7:00pm for any boys interested in playing soccer at the HS next year.  The meeting will be held in the team room which is located near the swimming pool at the HS.  Coach contact information is Ben Williams, b_mwilliams@hotmail.com."
  • Ever wonder how to play water polo? There is a free camp starting March 14th at 6pm at the High school. Email Coach Hellwig at Aviatorpolo@gmail.com to sign up.
  • Baseball practice on tonight will be from 5-6:30.  You must go home and come back for practice or stay for study tables with Coach Harris in room 213. (Repeat please)
  • Partner's club this wednesday until 4:00pm.
  • 7th graders....your course selectors are due to the counseling office by this FRIDAY, MARCH 11th. Please make sure to turn them in so you are placed in the classes that you choose for next year. 
    • If you have any questions, please see your school counselor. 
  • First day of track! All track athletes must do the following today:
    • 1. if you have paperwork, bring to Coach Shomo during the school day in room 215. 
    • 2. At the end of the day, all athletes will change in gym locker rooms and then bring ALL their items with them to the cafeteria. 
  • Congratulations to the cast and crew of "A Night of One Acts!"  You all did an amazing job!  An extra shout out to Mr. Shomo and Mr. Harris made cameo appearances in the play.  Bravo to all!
  • There will be a student council meeting this Wednesday from 3:15-4:00. 
  • Attention all students.  Looking for something fun to do after school?  Want to learn a game you can play for life?  Intramural Golf is about to begin.  Intramural golf consists of weekly trips to the driving range for informal instruction, golf tips, and fun!  Intramural Golf is open to all students except members of the girls or boys golf teams.  The sessions will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  
    • For more details, Mr. Brenner will be holding an information meeting  this Friday March 11th in the Cafeteria during Aviator Bell.  So mark you calendars now!  Again, informational meeting for Intramural Golf, Friday March 11th during Aviator Bell in the cafeteria.  See you then!
    • If you cannot attend, See Mr. Brenner in the counseling office for more information and a permission slip to sign up!
  • This week our character word is Diligence.  It is defined as having great determination in order to perform a task.  Our challenge is for you to be willing to risk failure when going after a worthy goal!
