Students of the week!

This week's Students of the Week are:

Abby Motley
Nominated by: Mr. Smarelli

I would like to nominate Abby Motley for the 8th grade student of the week. Abby is the leader of the 2nd violin section in the 8th grade orchestra. She has no rival when it comes to cueing her section and is consistently focused on the music. Her quiet leadership and great team attitude helps her section and our orchestra be the best it can be. Abby's other teachers describe her as an outstanding student and artist, caring, responsible, helpful, personable, friendly, bright, and a hard worker who always put forth her best effort! Congratulations to Abby for making a difference!

Shaimaa Yazid

Nominated by: Mrs. Sheehy

I cannot think of a more deserving student to receive Student of the Week than 7th grader, Shaimaa Yazid. Shaimaa comes to class everyday with a smile and positive attitude. She works hard in all of her classes and puts forth consistent effort. I have seen many examples of her talent, and am impressed by her passion and creativity in the classroom. Shaimaa assumes a leadership role when working in a group and is a great role model to her peers. She demonstrates the ability to meet any challenge and completes all assignments thoroughly and on time.
Shaimaa’s other teachers describe her as: A silent leader Diligent worker Such a nice girl! A great choice and pleasure to have in class! The qualities that Shaimaa possesses are the strengths that make her not only a great student but a wonderful person! Her continued success promises a bright future in high school and beyond.
