Make A Difference Day Leaf Raking Project

On Saturday, October 24, 2015, SJH students and staff will again be eagerly participating in our Make a Difference day leaf raking project.  The groups will be traveling to homes in Blue Ash and Montgomery to help residents who are unable to rake their lawns.  Leaf raking services for the elderly, shut-in, or disabled will be available from 10am-2pm.  Please encourage your child to participate in this wonderful opportunity to lend a hand to those in need.  We are also looking for parent volunteers to assist in raking and transporting groups to locations.  Students who participate will need a permission slip, rake, water bottle, and a parent to provide drop off at SJH and pick up from our last house.  All volunteers will meet at 9:30am in the SJH cafeteria.  Please drop off at cafeteria doors. The student meeting to volunteer will be held in the SJH media center on Thursday, October 15, during Aviator Bell.  The elderly, shut in, or folks with disabilities are encouraged to call and sign up for this FREE community service project.  If you are interested or know of someone who could use the help, call Ms. Carter in the SJH media center to sign up.  She can be reached at 513-686-1760, ext. 2581.
