Students of the Week!

This week's Students of the Week are:

 Allison Zimmerman

Nominated by: Mr. Rhoads
It is my pleasure to nominate Ali Zimmerman for Student of the Week. Ali is the type of student that every teacher loves to have in class. She is a hard worker, she has a great smile and personality, and she strives to be the best that she can be every day. Many students achieve to a level that is required by their teachers. Ali, however, strives to push herself beyond the level of “acceptable.” She has a great competitive drive that shows in the classroom and on the playing field, as she showed as a member of our basketball team. Ali’s infectious spirit makes others around her better. She would also not hesitate to help out a fellow classmate, and she showed many acts of character during first semester Physical Education class. It has been a pleasure to get to know Ali Zimmerman in class. She is a great representation of what our Student of the Week should be here at SJH.

Lauren Gause
Nominated by: Mrs. Toerpe

My choice for Student of the Week is Lauren Gause. Lauren shows she’s a conscientious student by always being prepared for class. She has her supplies and her completed homework everyday. Lauren is actively engaged in class and asks questions when she needs clarification and adds relevant comments to discussions we have in class. Not only is Lauren an all-around good student but she’s also a kind and thoughtful person. I’ve seen her help others when they don’t understand something. Lauren shows her interest in others by actively listening when they’re talking to her. Lauren brightens the classroom and has a smile for everyone.
