Today we conducted a “fly by” for dress code violations. Students that were in violation of the dress code were asked to report to the cafeteria to meet with administrators.
We addressed 28 students for dress code violations
- Violations included wearing leggings and bags that violated our policy of no backpacks/bags
- 7 students were seen for not having a case on their device
- 3 students were sent to us with bags holding their PE clothing. We did some troubleshooting with them regarding this
Parents, we ask for your support in requiring your student to do the following:
- School issued chromebooks are required to have the green plastic protective case. If your child has lost or broken his/hers a replacement can be purchased from the school for $20
- Devices may only be carried in a device sleeve, not a laptop bag or briefcase type bag. The sleeve can have a cross body strap. If you would like to purchase an approved device sleeve, you can do so at the Junior High School.
- Students are permitted to wear leggings ONLY when the shirt they wear covers both the back and front of the leggings. The shirt must be long enough to cover the student’s rear end and should remain equally as long in the front.
Students that have repeated violations will be assigned school consequences. We thank you for your assistance in keeping our school safe.
