Athletes of the Week!

This week's Student Athlete of the Week is:

Max Keller
Max Keller is this year's 7th Grade Green Boy's Basketball Athlete of the Week. Max always comes to practice on time and prepared to work. He has a great personality and attitude. He works hard on all facets of the game and is not afraid to gain additional understanding when necessary. Though his stature is small, he approaches the game like a big man and takes on all comers regardless of size. He hustles on both sides of the ball and pays close attention to detail. Max continues to improve his skills and has been impressive of late on his quick hitting 7 10 ft. jumper in the lane. I look forward to Max's continued growth and development as the season progresses and wish him the very best in his career in basketball and other endeavors.

Ava Jackson
The 2015-16 7th Grade Green team Athlete of the Week is Ava Jackson. Through tryouts, practices and the short season, Ava has shown the desire to become a better basketball player by her effort and by being extremely coachable. She constantly looks to improve by executing the things the coaches are teaching that day. Ava doesn't take short cutsand serves as an example to the other players on how to do the drills and how to run the plays. Ava is the type of player every coach wants on their team, and that every successful team needs, a leader by example and a person who wants to improve. Ava is also a great teammate, and makes everyone around her a better player by her actions. I look for Ava to continue to improve, and climb the basketball ladder, a superior athlete, the sky is the limit for Ava. Congratulations!
