Announcements!

Since you brought the cans you get the dance!
This year Sycamore Junior High is having a school dance and we want everybody to be in the OLD GYM on February 12 immediately after school until 5 o'clock.  Remember admittance to the dance is free. Results of the compatibility surveys will be available for $3. You can also purchase pizza, snacks and drinks.

Any student who received straight A's 2nd quarter please see Mrs. Manning in the counseling office immediately after announcements, to pick up your free Reds tickets.

The results of the Computer Fun compatibility survey will be available at the dance on Friday. The cost is $3 and all proceeds go to our sister school. ********If you do not pick up the survey at the dance they will be available during lunch next week.

Beta Club Adopt a Classroom committee: Please meet in Mrs. Nagel's room on Tuesday during Aviator bell to pick up supplies to make a Valentine for your Winton Hills buddy

This is an announcement for anyone that wants to work on Crew for A Night of One Acts.  The crew for this year's show will be VERY small due to the small nature of the show.  Therefore, if you are interested in working on the areas of  sound and lights, hair and make-up, costumes, ushering or backstage help, you need to submit your name and preferred crew job to Mrs. Stein by THIS Friday.  See Mrs. Stein if you have any questions.

Showtime 2016 is next Wednesday, February 17th.  Do not miss out on this fun night!  Get your tickets today!  Ticket order forms will be distributed in your Aviator Bell classes today and tomorrow.  The sooner you get your seats, the better they will be!  Don't miss your fellow students showing off their talents!  You also don't want to miss your teachers being featured on the Variety Show this year.  Word has it that Mrs. Stein is wearing a wig....    Tickets are $5,00 pre-sale and $7.00 at the door.  See YOU there!

The Change Challenge begins today! Remember to bring in your spare change to your aviator bell teacher. All money donated will be used by local food banks to get milk to families in need. Winners get donuts and the opportunity to dress an A.P. for a day!

The 7th Grade Gold Lady Aves finished the regular season with a resounding victory over White Oak, 30 - 15. The offense was lead by Claudia Bank-key with 8 points. Olivia Dick and Allie Fair scored 5 points each and Sophia Dick tossed in 4. The Gold team ended the regular season with a 7 - 7 record and received the 10 seed in the GMC Tournament.

On Saturday, the Lady Aves Gold team upset 7th seeded Lakota Ridge 37 - 30 in the Sweet 16 round of the GMC Tournament. After a sluggish start and down 2 at the half, the Lady Aves stormed back outscoring Ridge by 9 in the 2nd half. Claire La-neeve led the scoring with 12 points and Emma David added 11. Everyone played outstanding defense and did a great job breaking Ridge's full-court press.
The Lady Aves play 4th seeded Mason Green Tomorrow (Tuesday).

Teachers please allow the 7th grade Green team Basketball players to go to the Main Gym to turn in their uniforms and sport locks during Aviator bell.  They will be meeting with Coach Brown.

We the People:  There will be an Informational Meeting in the cafeteria on Thursday, Feb 11th during Aviator Bell.  If you enjoy debates, American History, current events, and arguing points of the Constitution, this Academic Club is for you.  Future lawyers, your career begins here.  Come see what this Club has to offer.  Questions?  See Mr. Hammer or Mrs. Morrow.  

ALL girls interested in playing lacrosse this spring, we have a mandatory meeting during Aviator Bell on Thursday 2/11 in the Media Center.  The information for tryouts and paperwork will be distributed.  Make every effort to come.  See Coach Mott if you have any questions.
