Athletes of the Week!

This week's Student Athletes of the Week are:

Marquell Fisher
Marquell Fisher was chosen as the track athlete of the week. Marquell is new to track but demonstrates raw talent for this sport. In recent meets, Marquell placed 1st in the 100 Meter, was part of the 4x100 relay which took first place and also in the 4x200 which took place 2nd place. Marquell also provides support for his fellow athletes and is on “track” to set new records in 100 and 4x100 events for Sycamore Junior High track.

Brooke Clark
Brooke is doing a great job as she picks up quickly after not playing lacrosse her 7th grade year. She is a hard-worker, asks great questions, and is willing to take direction from others. Her skills and determination have really started to show this week and she demonstrates core characteristics of a good teammate. Brooke’s coaches are excited to continue working with her and see how she continues to contribute to the team throughout the rest of the season. Congratulations, Brooke!

Jacob Fleck

Jacob Fleck is our B team Athlete of the Week. Jacob is a tremendous lacrosse player who shows up every day and tries to get better. In our first game he scored 6 goals. He is always looking for new ways to get better and he has the best Power Cradle on the team. I look forward to seeing Jacob grow as a lacrosse player.
