Students of the Week!

This week's Students of the Week are:

Anthea Weisman
Nominated by: Mrs. Ely

It is my pleasure to nominate Anthea Weisman for Student of the Week. Anthea always has a smile on her face and consistently maintains an outgoing, genial disposition. She is not only talented academically, but is a very conscientious and hardworking student. She is one of the more active participants in class, providing insightful and intelligent contributions to our class discussions. Her enthusiasm for learning has made her an absolute delight to have in class. Anthea’s other teachers say that she is a wonderful student who puts in the extra effort to be successful; her quality of work is excellent; and she is easy to work with, polite, and well-respected by her teachers and peers.

Atara Zmora

Nominated by: Mrs. Stubblebine

Atara is a wonderful choice for student of the week. She has all the attributes that make her a star student at Sycamore Junior High and her teachers’ accolades testify to this. Atara is viewed by her teachers as a model student, who is very engaged and eager to participate in class. She is creative, hard working, very disciplined and always gives her very best. She is a student who takes the responsibility for her learning seriously. Additionally, Atara is respectful, thoughtful and kind. She is friendly and always willing and eager to lend a helping-hand to others. It is a pleasure to have such a diligent and nice student as Atara Zmora at Sycamore Junior High. She is a very deserving recipient for the Student of the Week Award.
