ANNOUNCEMENT OF WINTER OPTIONAL TESTING FOR
IDENTIFICATION OF GIFTED STUDENTS
In accordance with HB 282, the state of Ohio requires that school districts provide multiple opportunities for testing to identify students as gifted. Although your child may have recently participated in district ability and achievement testing, you may request that your child be re-tested this winter. The junior high will offer the CogAT test this winter on Saturday, December 5th from 9:00AM-11:30AM for those parents and students that are interested. Please note that it is the parent’s responsibility to provide transportation to and from the junior high.
