We are excited to announce that Sycamore Junior High will now being using Naviance. Naviance is a fully featured program that allows students and their families to access a huge amount of information regarding a student's interests, learning styles, careers, and options for Junior High, High School, and beyond. With starting Naviance in the Junior High School, students will now be able to build thorough portfolios of favorite careers and colleges from 7th-12th grade. Both 7th and 8th grade students will be introduced to Naviance during the upcoming weeks through their student access portal entitled “Family Connection”. Students will be engaging in various activities throughout the year and will complete their first activity during this upcoming introduction. Below is the handout all students will receive that outlines how they can access their Family Connection account. Please encourage your child to share with you their results and together explore the many features Naviance and Family Connection has to offer.
