Students of the Week!

This week's Students of the Week are:

 Anisa Khatana

Nominated by: Mrs. Hromadka

I am very pleased to nominate Anisa Khatana as this week’s eighth grade student of the week.  Anisa is absolutely delightful to have in class.  She is an outstanding student who always has a very positive attitude.  Her hard work and dedication to all that she does has not gone unnoticed by her teachers.  She has a wonderful work ethic.  She dependably participates in class and is eager to learn and succeed.  Anisa is also taking many difficult accelerated courses and has achieved high marks in all of them.  She is also an amazing artist.  Anisa’s other teachers agreed that she is a great choice and had many positive things to say about her as well. Some things Anisa’s teachers said about her is that she is “kind, funny, hard working, cooperative,  conscientious, and a natural leader.”  As you can see, Anisa is a great pick for student of the week.  Congratulations, Anisa, and continue the excellent effort!

Ava Jackson

Nominated by: Ms. Bryant

Ava is a student who always puts forth 110% of effort and as a result has excelled academically. She recently was named to the Sycamore Junior High School  and currently has a 4.0 for this quarter. Just as importantly, if not more so, she has the character traits that every parent and teacher appreciates; humor, kindness, tenacity and integrity. When she sees a peer who needs assistance, she offers it; even when she doesn't think an adult notices. She balances it all; sports, friends, academics and positive personal character development. I am looking forward to seeing her continued growth both in and out of the classroom. Keep up the good work, Ava!
