Student of the Week!

This week's Students of the Week are:

Cody Dwyer

Nominated by: Mrs. Stein

This week, I am proud to nominate Cody Dwyer as 8th grade student of the week.  Cody works very hard in class everyday.  He is kind to others, has a great sense of humor and comes to class prepared and ready to learn every day.  Here are some of the great things that Cody’s teachers had to say about him:

“He’s awesome.”
“Very mature, hard working, pleasant young man.  I really enjoy having him in class.”
“So polite and attentive all the time.  He would do anything in the world to help another student or teacher.” “Very dependable and just a cool kid.”
“One of the best all around players I've ever coached.”
“Good friend strong athlete and leader
 by his actions and words”

CONGRATULATIONS Cody!!!  Thank you for being a student that makes a positive contribution and positive choices each and every day!.  Keep up the great work!

Allie Fehr

Nominated by: Mr. Foley

This week’s 7th Grade Student of the Week is Allie Fehr.  Allie is a poster child for this award.  She is a straight A student who is polite and respectful to her  teachers and peers.  She is a great athlete who sets goals and works hard to achieve them.  She knows right from wrong and always chooses the correct path. Allie is considerate of others and willing to help them along.  During PE class, she plays hard and always follows the rules. When people speak to her, she keeps good eye contact, shows respect, and listens carefully to what they have to say. It is admirable to see an athlete of her talent display such sportsmanship and character on and off the playing field.  Allie is a fun and outgoing student who makes the most of her opportunities here at Sycamore Junior High School.  We are proud of Allie and wish her luck in the future!
