Announcements August 31- September 4, 2015

• Schoolhouse Rock meetings are this week- Wednesday and Thursday after school in Room 105.  Interested students must come to one of those meetings, but may come to both.  Please have a ride picking you up promptly at 4:00.  See Mrs. Stein if you have any questions.
• Attention Athletic Board Members- Our First meeting will be on Friday at 7:30 am in the Health Room.  Mr. Rhoads will provide food.  Please plan on attending.  If you have any questions, ask Mr. Rhoads. Clarification on the Athletic Board Announcement-  If you are on the Athletic Board, you received a letter in the mail this summer and an email from Mr. Rhoads this week.  Only those students should plan to attend the Athletic Board Meeting on Friday morning.
• Do you like to run contests? Would you be interested in working the school "jukebox" during lunch? Do you like to address and solve school issues? If you answered yes, student council is for you. There will be an informational meeting this Friday during Aviator Bell in room 220.
• If you have a shot record to turn in, please bring it to Mrs. Bonham  in the Nurse's office.
• Proof of the Tdap is needed by September 7th.
• All Flight Fest Student Committee Members - Friendly reminder that our first after-school meeting is today Thursday 9/3 in the Media Center until 4:30 pm.  Please arrange a ride to pick you up by the courtyard gates at 4:30! If you didn't make it to our first meeting last week, you can still join us...We need all the help we can get!  See Mrs. Zelvy or Ms. Mott if you have any questions or cannot make it but still want to be involved.  Hope to see you there!
• Varsity Football takes on Covington Catholic this Friday Night!  Tickets will be on sale on FRIDAY during lunch.  Tickets are $4 Pre Sale for students and $7 for adults.  Buy your tickets early and save money!   
• Also- Students please be aware that Backpacks will NOT be allowed in the gates at Varsity Football games.  
• the SUPPLY DRIVE is going great and we have already filled each bin once! The bins are located by recess doors and the front lobby. As of now, we have collected around 300 items. That means we have 700 to go!!! That is at least 5 more full bins!
• Also, please announce that there will be a Builders Club meeting in room 133 on Wednesday during Aviator bell. All 8th grade members and new 7th grade members are invited.
