Student Athletes of the Week!

This week's Student Athletes of the Week are:

Sarah Barnhorst

Congratulations to Sarah Barnhorst, this week's Athlete of the Week representing the Gold Tennis Team!  Sarah was relatively new to tennis and has continued to improve since tryouts.  She stepped up to play one of the singles positions in our first two matches.  I will always remember her exciting first-ever match and first win against Wyoming.  Sarah is also very 'coachable', striving to improve her strokes, strategy and fitness.  More importantly, Sarah is a TEAM player, humble and always plays by the code, displaying good sportsmanship and respect for her teammates and opponents.  She is a vital  part of our tennis program and has contributed to the Gold Team's 3-0 record.  Good luck Sarah and both Green and Gold Tennis Teams the rest of the season!

Danielle Hershenson

The athlete of the week from the 7th grade cheerleading squad is Danielle Hershenson. Danielle is an Achiever. She always seems to take advantage of every opportunity she gets to better herself. She is Very respectful towards her teammates and coaches. Danielle never complains and doesn’t let her Emotions get in the way of her performance. Keep up the hard work and way to go Danielle!!!
