Student Athlete of the Week!

This week's Student Athletes of the Week are:

Isaiah James
This week’s 8th grade football athlete of the week is Isaiah James.  Isaiah is a high character and respectful young man.  He is the ultimate team player by being our number one cheerleader.  Isaiah has not gotten as much playing time as he would of liked so far this season but when he is in the game he makes the most of his opportunity.  During practice his goal is always to improve as a player and to make sure the starters are ready for the next game.  Off the field Isaiah is a kind and generous person who is a friend to everyone he meets.  The coaches are very proud of Isaiah as he is deserving of this award!

Lauren Pratt
Lauren is a Middle Hitter for the 8th grade Gold volleyball team.  Lauren has been a big reason the team has been so successful this year. She leads by example and works very hard to improve her game each week.  Lauren has led the Gold team in kills this season and is a very talented all-round player. Congratulations Lauren!!

Jayla Lewis
It is with great pleasure that I submit Jayla Lewis as the
Student Athlete of the Week.  Jayla is a member of the 7th Grade Gold Volleyball team.  From day one Jayla has worked hard in practice and that effort has been carried over into each match that the team has played.  She has worked hard to develop all of her skills, and she has come a long way in the course of a few months.  Jayla is quiet but leads by example in the way that she works hard in practice and plays hard during  games.  She is always dependable, supportive of her teammates, and maintains a positive outlook.  For these reasons Jayla is very deserving to be Sycamore Junior High School’s Athlete of the Week.  Congratulations Jayla and best of luck to you in all that you do.
