Student of the Week!

This week's Students of the Week are:

Tahlia Fishback

Nominated by: Ms. Sheldt
Tahlia, you are an amazing student and I consider myself lucky to have you in my class. You set a great example for peers by always exceeding expectations, participating, being ready for class when the bell rings, and wearing a smile on your face each and every day. You truly give 110% in all you do. Tahlia has demonstrated the Sycamore character qualities of respect and responsibility by always lending a helping hand to fellow students and always being prepared with all of her materials and Chromebook charged and ready to go every day. Tahlia shines as a role model in class everyday, and I look forward to the rest of the year as I see her grow as a student and person.

Honomi Monda

Nominated by: Ms. Mott
Honomi is a delightful student to have who works hard in all her classes.  Despite the fact that every class she takes is in her second language, Honomi approaches each day with a wonderful attitude and continually asks great questions and does her best.  She demonstrates all the quality characteristics that the teachers of Sycamore Junior High looks for in their students and is above all kind to her peers and teachers.  Honomi is always polite, smiles, and positively affects her classmates by her hard work and dedication to becoming a better learner.  Most recently, Honomi has applied for Student Council so it has also been neat to see her immerse herself in the culture of Sycamore Junior High by taking risks and trying something new!  She is an absolute pleasure to have in class and therefore is a well-deserving recipient of Student of the Week.
