Announcements September 28- October 2

• Students, 
• We need your empty cleaned out gallon milk jugs for flight fest.  Please bring those in starting tomorrow and take them to Mr. Kinsinger's room.  His room is located in the gym hallway all the way down on the right.  
• There will be a STAAND Meeting this Friday (10/2) during Aviator Bell, immediately following the announcements in room 221.
• Attention all GIRLS and BOYS interested in playing BASKETBALL this year.  We will have a mandatory Players AND Parents meeting on Thursday, October 8th.  The Girls Meeting will be at 6:00 and the Boys at 7:00.  Both meetings will take place in the Media Center.  We will discuss the expectations of the Basketball Program, the tryout process, and the tryout and practice schedule.  Please make sure that if you are serious about playing basketball this season, that you have everything signed on Final Forms, and that you attend this meeting with an adult family member. 
• Attention Yearbook Club Members!
• If you are interested in ordering a Yearbook club t shirt,  order forms are due to Mrs. Speelman by Thursday, Oct 1st.  Also, make sure you are bringing your camera or checking one out this week.  We needs LOTS of photos of Spirit Week, the pep rally and Flight Fest!
• There will be a short informational meeting for all students interested in trying out for the Jr. High Swimming and Diving Team on Tuesday, October 13th at 3:15p in the cafeteria. The meeting will last approximately one half hour."
• ALL FlightFest Student Committee Members - our FINAL meeting will be Thursday 10/1 after school until 4 pm in the Media Center.  Please note the time change.  Anyone is welcome to come help out with final details...have a ride pick you up by 4 pm!  See you there!  If you can't come but still want to help with FlightFest, please see Mrs. Zelvy, Mrs. DiOrio, or Ms. Mott for details.  Also--remember to bring your signed Homecoming Parade permission slip to turn in! 
• Congratulations to the 7th grade football team for yet another great victory agains Lakota Ridge shutting them out 36-0. Keep up the great work!

• Attention Athletic Board Members-  Reminder that we will have our meeting on Friday at 7:30 am in the Health Room.  If you were assigned to food and drinks, make sure to bring something yummy!
